Introduction These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Website, API, and Console (together, "Our Services"), operated by Alexandre van Beurden, a sole proprietor (*raison individuelle* / *Einzelfirma*) established in Switzerland ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use Our Services. ## 2. Definitions - **"Website":** The websites accessible at regexsolver.com and its subdomains. - **"API":** The programming interfaces accessible at api.regexsolver.com. - **"Console":** The user account management interface located at console.regexsolver.com. - **"Our Services":** Includes the Website, API, and Console. - **"Authentication Provider":** The third-party service that provides identity verification and authentication, currently Firebase (Google). Eligibility and User Accounts To use certain features of Our Services, you must register and create an account through our Authentication Provider. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API tokens, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at legal@regexsolver.com of any unauthorized use of your account or tokens. Each individual is limited to a single user account. Creating multiple accounts for one individual is prohibited and may result in the suspension or termination of all associated accounts. ## 4. Beta Services Our Services are currently offered as a **free, open beta**. This means: - Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. - Our Services may contain errors, and availability, performance, and data retention are not guaranteed. - No service level agreement (SLA) applies during the beta. - We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Our Services at any time. You use beta features at your own risk. ## 5. Provision of Services We aim to provide Our Services efficiently, but availability may be subject to maintenance windows and unforeseen downtime. We do not warrant that Our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from such interruptions. ## 6. Acceptable Use You may use Our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: - Violate any applicable laws or regulations; - Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights; - Attempt to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with rate limits, quotas, authentication, or other security or usage features of Our Services; - Intentionally degrade, overload, or disrupt the quality or integrity of Our Services; - Engage in any form of malicious, fraudulent, or abusive activity. ## 7. Fees, Plans, and Payment Our Services are currently provided free of charge during the open beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If and when we do, we will publish the applicable pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms, and payment will be handled by a third-party payment processor. We will provide notice before any paid features apply to your account, and continued use of paid features will be subject to those additional terms. ## 8. Intellectual Property All intellectual property rights in and to Our Services are owned by us and/or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Website or Console without our prior written consent. You retain all rights to the data and content you submit to the API; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide Our Services to you. ## 9. We take the security of your data seriously and implement reasonable measures to protect it. ## 10. Third-Party Services Our Services rely on and may link to third-party services (such as our Authentication Provider, our Analytics Provider, and hosting providers). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies. ## 11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability Our Services are provided **"as is"** and **"as available"**, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or Our Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CHF 100.
